|| Behind the Lens ||
I believe deeply in the power of story. Of human story. Of suffering and joy, and how the experience of both has the ability to transform and heal. My eye is drawn to beauty in nature and faces and moments that is unassuming and awe-filled; and I will forever be enthralled by the dance that exists between shadows and light. 

I am passionate about being exposed to various cultures and people groups, while also finding the threads of connection weaved in and among us all. I believe it is through seeing and listening that we are offered glimpses into the complex wisdom of humankind -- therefore, I find myself on endless quests to travel, explore, read, and learn. I also find a great deal of satisfaction in collaborating and creating/expressing with others. There is an energy there that I can't get enough of. 

I believe life is composed of mystery and paradox, and that there is a profound connection between the tangible and the divine. My hope is that through different avenues of life - photography, writing, & communally driven relationships – that I can attest and grant openness to the intricate richness and perplexity that is offered to this world.
